On June 15, 2006, in anticipation of Father’s Day, seven New York/New Jersey stations televised stories concerning Ken fathering triplets. A picture of Ken and his children was featured on the cover of the Long Island newspaper Newsday on June 16, 2006. The New York Daily News also reported the story that day. Articles later appeared in other newspapers throughout the country. In addition, Vitality Magazine, published by Northshore University Hospital (where the triplets were born) featured the Kunken family in their fall 2006 issue.
